GAUTAM BUDDH HEALTH CARE FOUNDATION (GBHCF)-A NON-GOVERNMENT CHARITABLE TRUST

is a small beginning towards our ambition for social development through healthcare and health education. The foundation, ever since its conception has been focusing its energies and resources on medical treatment, education, rehabilitation and prophylaxis, especially for the underprivileged and needy. GBHCF is a people’s movement to achieve the goals set before it. The realization of these goals has been made possible by the persistence of Dr. V.S. Chauhan, Managing Trustee, (GBHCF). He is a renowned Orthopedic Surgeon and has been rendering his services for the past 20 years in the medical field, particularly to the less fortunate. Recognizing the need of spreading awareness as well as making available the basic health care facilities and benefits to one and all is the idea that forms the basis of this organization.

It was observed that there was a lack in the number as well as in the competency of trained professionals in various fields of allied medical sciences namely, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy and rehabilitation.

It was also noticed that the youth, particularly from the rural and sub-urban background, had an immense pool of talent and potential and they needed to be engaged in job oriented courses. Given an opportunity and the right guidance would help them realize their capabilities and make it possible for them to secure a place of their own in today’s world. This was the driving ideology behind the concept of PRAKASH INSTITUTE OF PHYSIOTHERAPY, REHABILITATION & ALLIED MEDICAL SCIENCES, GREATER NOIDA.
